According to Oregon State University, those that were exposed to the smoke from the fires in Oregon now have a greater chance of contracting COVID-19 due to the residue of the inhaled particles. They also say it is imperative that Americans get flu shots as without the vaccine there will be a higher risk of infection rate that will also promote COVID-19.
