I bet if these councilors were meeting in the library the air conditioning would have been approved. Unfortunately they dont use the library so don't see a need to improve it for others to use.

35 years in the HVAC industry. Six weeks is the middle of June. Already too late for a major overhaul for the summer, companies will be slammed with work. Commercial HVAC equipment can be anywhere from 6 months to 24 months backlog on orders. I don't know the scope of the work there and doubt their systems are complex, but they should be nice and cool for summer 2024.
