Saturday hazardous waste collection canceled
A household hazardous waste collection scheduled for Saturday in Newberg has been canceled.
The county is still planning an Oct. 10 collection at the county fairgrounds, with extended hours, pending any new state-mandated closures, county Solid Waste Coordinator Ashley Watkins said this week.

I wonder if they should extend the household hazardous waste collection until early November so we have a place readily available to dispose of all of the toxic "vote for me" signs that will be littering front yards, stretches along 99W, and just about everywhere you wish they were not...?
Of course there is always Plan B, which could easily be one particular mayoral candidate and their spouse going around and gathering up all of the political litter, since they are such experts with picking up the trash of the homeless and scrubbing away the gang-related grafitti. Just saying...
