Duncan W. Dashney - 1946-2018
Duncan William Dashney passed away unexpectedly August 25, 2018, at Willamette Valley Medical Center. He was 71 years old.
Born to William and Caroyl Dashney, he lived the majority of his life in his hometown of McMinnville, Oregon. He worked in the plastics industry for most of his life as a production planner and scheduler; he retired in 2008. A self-proclaimed staunch Republican, he loved reading, watching the Chicago Cubs and the Oregon Ducks football games, and visiting with his family, all while drinking copious amounts of coffee.
Duncan was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Dashney, in 2015. He is survived by his son, Thomas; daughter, Karen; grandsons, Trent and Gabriel; great-granddaughter, Adilynn; brother, John; nephew, Braden; and great-niece, Violet.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018, at St. Barnabas Church in McMinnville.
