A New Generation
Kudos to the Planning Commission for doing their homework and rightfully denying this application. I listened, and four out of five criteria couldn't be met. Its clearly dangerous to motorists and any potential pedestrian traffic with such a skinny hidden driveway. A man was killed further down 240 a week before under similar circumstances due to glare and the narrow highway where the driver couldn't see him. Hopefully the City Council does their homework and doesn't grant an appeal. The impact on Hawn Creek and surrounding properties is indisputable. Environmentally, when those tanks eventually leak, as they all do, it would be an unmitigated disaster. Put it somewhere else, not next to a sensitive wetland.
