Author to read Wednesday
Seattle writer to read from memoir at Linfield
Seattle author Cara Stoddard will read from her memoir, “Spirography,” Wednesday, April 1, during Readings at the Nick in the Nicholson Library at Linfield University. The free program starts at 5:30 p.m. A question-and-answer session will follow.
The author said “Spirography” is a story of kinship, queerness, illness and loss.
Stoddard’s work has appeared in “The Gettysburg Review,” “Terrain.org” and “Ninth Letter,” among other venues. She has been nominated for the John Burroughs Nature Essay award.
