Meet closes pool

The McMinnville Aquatic Center will be hosting the Chehalem Swim Team’s "Shark Chase" swim meet this weekend. Sixteen teams are expected to bring 465 swimmers.

Competition is slated to open at 6 tonight and continue through Sunday. Spectators are welcome throughout.

The aquatic center's regular weekend programs will be suspended, effective at 1 this afternoon. It will resume its normal schedule Monday morning.
