Families crowded along Third Street Friday afternoon to see McMinnville's annual Christmas parade -- and welcome a very special visitor, Santa Claus.
The lighted parade started at 4:30 p.m. and was followed by lighting of the official Christmas tree in the Upper City Park.
About 30 entries made their way along the parade route.
