No council meeting Monday

The McMinnville City Council and McMinnville School Board will not hold a joint meeting Monday, Aug. 28, as earlier announced.

The board will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. that night in the school district office, 800 N.E. Lafayette Ave. Plans originally called for the council to join the board later in the evening, but that gathering has been postponed.

Monday is the first day of classes for McMinnville schools, as well.
