Federal funding in a sanctuary state?

Hilarious.

Moe: With as screwed up as things are in the current administration, might as well ask.

The president and his rapidly deteriorating co-president are impossible to forecast.

"Another $1.7 million in federal funding will be requested for a pedestrian railroad crossing on Booth Bend Road...

"The McMinnville School District currently pays for busing services for children who would otherwise walk to school, Richards said.

“'They can’t use (the railroad crossing) at all because of lack of safety,' she said."

I remember when I was a kid, we had crossing guards at dangerous intersections. You could pay a lot of people to be crossing guards for long time for a lot less than $1.7 million.

Meanwhile:

The city owes us $millions for the unconscionable $1.5 / $k property tax; & $millions for the unconscionable MW&L fee.

And as it stands, with the tax authority at its limit, and probably little tolerance for higher fees, there is no elasticity for a real emergency.
