I assume the damage/ cleanup cost from the fire was covered by insurance, and any lease payments should have continued....if true, sounds like Mr. Thomas is looking for an extra payday.....


Sounds like you don't know anything regarding the situation and any suggestions of greed on the owners part, is strictly you're uninformed opinion.

The building owner can recover no more than his actual loss, so he must have been underinsured.

If the damages were indeed covered by insurance coverage and the owner sues for additional damages.....what motivation do you think would drive the litigation?
