Sal, you being the Council President might know the answer to this, how do I make a citizens arrest?

Under U.S. Code Title 8, Section 1324, "harboring" refers to knowingly concealing, harboring, or shielding an undocumented alien from detection, in any place or transport, a serious federal offense with penalties including significant fines, imprisonment (up to 10 years, potentially longer if death or serious injury occurs), and forfeiture of assets. It's part of a broader statute criminalizing bringing in and aiding unlawful presence, with key elements being the knowledge of the alien's unlawful status and the act of providing shelter or aid to help them remain hidden in the U.S..

Key Aspects of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii)

The Act: Concealing, harboring, or shielding from detection an alien in any building or transportation.

The Knowledge: The person must know or recklessly disregard the alien's illegal presence.

The Purpose: The act helps the alien remain in the U.S. illegally, often interpreted as providing shelter, housing, or employment.

Examples of Harboring
Providing housing for an undocumented immigrant.
Employing someone without proper documentation and hiding their status.
Helping someone avoid immigration authorities.

Penalties
Standard: Fines and imprisonment (up to 10 years).
Aggravated: Increased penalties for financial gain, serious bodily injury, or death.

Gosh agent Bigfoot, with all of your extensive legal knowledge, you don’t need to worry about silly details like probable cause or qualified immunity. Just pick out a person that you think is breaking the law then slap the cuffs on them! Maybe break a window in their car, that way they will know you mean business!

You”ll be waiting a long time…. You may want research the evidentiary standard to prove treason.
It’s a high bar…mandated by the constitution.. to prevent political misuse of the charge.

Did anyone happen to hear the recently released 911 call regarding the high school age kid and his 20 year old friend in Mac who were detained by ICE? (911 calls are public record.) It's very interesting how people can so easily jump to conclusions before knowing all of the facts.

Gee, tag. No agent skills needed, just google, reading past a 4 th grade level, and reasonable cognitive skills. Most liberals will go down 1 outa 3, but keep trying.

One quick 4 seconds of searching brings up the ordinance that spells out the illegality of harboring, hiding, or attempting to harbor and or hide a person who is in this country illegally. It’s illegal for them to be here, and it’s illegal for you to help them avoid capture.

Tagup, you’re a smart guy, I guess, you should think twice before the federal agents get their reinforcements, because then the warrants will come out.
