Completely agree with Mayor Morris... Why is Tucholsky's potential conflict being scrutinized more than Geary's? There is a very visible divide on the City Council. As she has demonstrated in past meetings, Mayor Morris has shown common sense and poise. Good job Kim!

So Geary making decisions that may potentially keep his wife employed, cutting her position or reducing her hours, directly impacting his family income, would not require his recusal? And it’s up to him to decide if it is a conflict? How does this represent the interests of the citizens of McMinnville or make any sense outside the clown world of Oregon politics.

There needs to be a deep dive and see how many other conflicts were decided by potential financial impacts of the council members, past and present, including mayor Remi Drabkin. Let’s start with the $36k online poll the city contracted for the fire tax scam.
