This recall is definitely NOT a weapon. It is a remedy. A way to correct a mistake before a very bad situation gets any worse. It is gratifying to read this article and know that Yamhill County voters have risen to the occasion. Sincere thanks to every person who worked so hard to make this possible.

Commissioner Berschauer, as a member of the board of Timberunity, backed a recall against State Rep. Tiffany Mitchell in 2019.. for keeping her campaign promises.

It seems her concern isn’t with the “recall weapon”, just who it’s pointed at.

You could still save us all the trouble and cost of an election, Commissioner, and just resign.

Halloween is over. It's time to take off the County Commissioner costume.

Why does the stink of Lindsay just keep getting worse day after day? She is corrupt!

Here's a fun fact: 20% of all registered Democrats in Yamhill County signed this petition....but so did 7% of all registered Republicans.

The plot now thickens...a little. Will there be a 'Recall Vote' or 'Resignation?'

The County Clerk (and probably Berschauer's Attorney) are in the throes of validating all of the signatures.

I am not an apologist for Commissioner Berschauer but, she is not responsible for the Yamhelas Westsider Trail payback of 'Grant monies' to the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). Commissioner Berschauer should still face the wrath of the 'Voters' for other significant issues to numerous to be included here.

*From the article, "... Opponents contend Berschauer has already cost the county tens of thousands of dollars, pointing to her vote, along with that of Commissioner Mary Starrett, to end pursuit of permits to build the Yamhelas Westsider Trail..."

*Commissioner Kulla is the remaining irresponsible dullard concerning the Yamhelas Westsider Trail. Kulla and former Commissioners Primozich and Olson repeatedly voted to spend taxpayer's money for the 'Trail' despite being repeatedly rebuked by the Land Use of Appeals (LUBA). Commissioner Starrett steadfastly refused to 'vote' for the 'Trail' from the beginning of this debacle.

*Focus your disgust on Kulla, Primozich and Olson for irresponsible financial conduct concerning the 'Trail' for not having an acceptable 'permit' to pass muster with LUBA before allocating public funds to chase an; 'economic development project masquerading as a transportation project to obtain ODOT grant money.'

Berschauer did exactly what she campaigned she would do and proponents of the 'Trail' got their feathers ruffled and or their butts' kicked.
