Adaptive egg hunt planned April 3

The free event is open to children with physical, developmental or intellectual disabilities. Their siblings can attend, as well.

Participants will be able to search for eggs that make noise, so those with visual impairments can find them, or look for eggs hidden atop a table, so children in wheelchairs can reach them. Snacks, candy and gifts will be available, as well.

The annual Adaptive Egg Hunt is sponsored by The Grove church and McMinnville Parks and Recreation.

It will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 3, in Discovery Meadows Community Park, 1300 N.W. Cypress St., McMinnville. In case of rain, it will switch a drive-by experience, organizers said.

Pandemic safety protocols will be followed.
