A perfect illustration of the monumental lack of judgement that to many people in our society have towards firearms.....With (gun) rights come responsibilities....
There should be no plea bargain that allows him to avoid felony charges.....This moron should never have access to a weapon again.....

Can we say: ‘public menace’?

Seems that some of the commentators did not read the claim of self-defense before they chimed in. Whether or not that claim is valid is a matter for the court and the rest if us should refrain from rushing off to judgment....

Hibb- your point is taken regarding “presumed innocence “ but a previous article stated that the affidavit mentioned the handgun found in the victim’s vehicle had not been fired....It also said neither of the occupants of the pickup attempted to call 911 despite both having cell phones.....sees like reaching for the AK should be the last choice.....not the first....

Tagup- The article said something to the effect of, a gun was found in the victims car and "appears not to have been fired".
APPEARS is not a certainty so let's remember that!

I’m more likely to remember a guy leaning out of a moving vehicle firing a dozen shots with his AK....
Maybe 911 would have been a more reasonable starting point?
