Hopewell fire turns out to be illegal burn

HOPEWELL -- Dayton firefighters say the report of a fire in Hopewell near Wallace Road turned out to be a burn pile. Outdoor burning is not allowed today.

A caller reported seeing flames and smoke in the area about 11:25 a.m. They thought a shed and brush were involved in the blaze.
