It’s sad to see the old buildings torn down. Nearly every one in downtown Portland is gone now. They aren’t safe in an earthquake and since we are becoming so overpopulated we need to go up up up. I would hope as all the old unreinforced masonry get demolished that they can keep some of the old look about the new buildings. Like that new hotel in Mac is hideous it looks like it belongs in Southern California.
