Art Harvest show will feature 42 artists

Although the studio tour part of Art Harvest has been canceled, the show associated with the annual event will take place Aug. 4 to Sept. 19 at the Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg.

The show will feature pieces by the 42 artists who planned to participate in the October tour. Each will display two or three original pieces, from paintings to jewelry, sculptures, stained glass and other forms of art.

The Arts Alliance of Yamhill County has been sponsoring Art Harvest since the early 1990s. The art show was added several years ago. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The tour was canceled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, but is expected to go forward in 2021. For more information, go to the event website, www.artharveststudiotour.org/
