Valley Panthers into Premiership title game
Makayla Johnson scored four tries and the forward trio of Samantha Arciga, Jordan Johnson and Kelsey Johnson ably controlled the ball during the Valley Panthers rugby club’s 75-0 victory over Canby in the Rugby Oregon Varsity Premiership semifinals May 14 at Delta Park in Portland.
The Valley Panthers (7-0 in Rugby Oregon play) advance to the Varsity Premiership state championship game against Reynolds Saturday at 9 a.m. at Delta Park in Portland.

Dayton’s Stoller Run set for May 28
The Dayton High School track and field and girls basketball programs are holding their annual Stoller Run fundraiser Saturday, May 28th, at Stoller Family Estate, 16161 N.E. McDougall Road, Dayton,
The kids’ mile run begins at 9:45 a.m., with the 5K run and walk to follow at 10 a.m. Wine tasting is free the day of the race, with a 20 percent discount for purchases. Various items will also be raffled off the participants at the completion of the races.

McMinnville Track Club holds registration
The McMinnville Track Club is accepting registration for the upcoming summer track season.  The Club is open to all area youth athletes ages 7-18, at all skill levels and disciplines.
All athletes are enrolled in USA Track and Field (USATF). Registration fees include USATF membership, club membership, T-shirt, uniform and use of club equipment. The season runs through early July.

Linfield soccer programs hold camp
The Linfield men’s and women’s soccer programs are hosting a coed soccer camp August 15-18 at the Linfield Soccer Field.
Girls and boys in grades 1-8 will receive instruction from current Linfield coaches and players. Drills and competitive games will be used to develop campers’ skills.
Sessions occur from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day. Campers are encouraged to wear cleats or tennis shoes, T-shirts, shorts and shin guards and bring water.
Cost of participation is $75, and registration will prior to and on the first day of camp.
