McMinnville City Council to meet Tuesday

* Approve an ordinance change for a proposed subdivision on Cumulus Avenue. The change would pave the way for approval of a 29-lot, single-family subdivision on 7.19 acres, proposed by the Yamhill Community Development Corporation.

* Approve a franchise agreement with LightSpeed Networks Inc., which plans to provide high speed data transmission and broadband access to businesses.

* Approve a resolution transferring the fixed base operation at the McMinnville Airport from Cirrus Aviation to Konect Aviation. The city’s lease with Cirrus runs through June, but Cirrus is looking to make the move sooner and the city staff is agreeable.

* Hear a presentation from Your Community Mediators. Last year, the city awarded the group $21,000 to help fund its mediation services.

* Reappoint Jody Christiansen to the Airport Commission, Jerry Hart and Brad Lunt to the Budget Committee, Patti Webb to the Historic Landmark Committee,  and John Tiedge and Martin Chroust-Masin to the Planning Commission.

Before its formal meeting, the council meets for dinner at 6 p.m. in the Civic Hall conference room. Both meetings are open to the public.
