For once, I’m speechless. Sewer bills in the range of $111-$155 9 years from now? !
And on top of that a stormwater fee of $15 a month.
Morris is right, the economy right now is really hard.

“(It makes) more sense to fix what we have and then not build out if we don’t know that we’re going to get the bodies moving in,” he said.
Leaders need to get it through their head — most people who live in McMinnville don’t want a fancy place to live in.
We just want a comfortable place to live in.

Looks to me like the city could use the added property and income tax revenue that 1,000 more jobs and 10,000 more residents would normally have supplied. But didnt the non-friends of Yamhill County cause those businesses and homes to be built on ex farmland in Lafayette, Carlton, and Dayton instead of McMinnville. As a result, some part of the funding solution need to come in the form of job growth and housing growth. A Costco and revitalized 3rd street would be a good start to reestablishing Mac as a regional shopping/hospitality city again. Zero growth is not affordable in today’s world.

Bob - That is a great summary - and pointing out who is responsible ('non-friends of Yamhill County') is a perfect description of those dim bulbs.

If only our salaries were all higher.
Instead, we now have Trillionaires that don't pay their fair share in taxes while gorging on exclusive government contracts.....all while stomping on their own workers salaries.
It's not maga vs dems. It never was.
