If the grants aren't canceled, like all the other grants nowadays. And will the Republicans pull the grant to extend Rte. 18, which is already in process? The committee will form plans to be submitted to the FAA...will it be in existence in another year?
Get the Republicans out of office and ICE out of our communities -- Republicans put them there!

fiddler:
You seem hell-bent on blaming Republicans for everything. In our state, the Democrats hold a majority in both house and senate, and are poised to flex their muscles and impose a back-breaking amount of taxes on us. Are you not outraged by these actions by Democrats?
Refer to News-Register article from June 13, "Board renews contracts, criticizes ODOT bill"
Here is an excerpt from that story:
"There’s a gas tax increase of 37% and it would be indexed to inflation forever. Wage tax of 300% for the transit payroll tax. DMV fee 62% (increase), car registration goes from $43 to $113. A DMV fee for drivers test goes from $45 to $111, a license plate fee, a 175% increase, $12 to $33. Transfer tax on new cars, that’s a 2% basically sales tax on new cars. It creates a new tax on used cars, vehicle privilege tax, road use tax and a charge for a company that has delivery vehicles of 10 or more. This would be absolutely catastrophic for already strapped budgets.”
Rather than make blanket criticisms of a party, Republican or Democrat, maybe it would be more productive to look at specific issues and how they impact us as citizens?

Here is another union sponsored money grab by the Ds in the Oregon legislature -- N-R editorial: Jobless benefits for strikers violates standard of fairness - June 13,2025.
And then there always is the biennial attempt to somehow get their grubby little mitts on the kicker -- since it's been 30 yrs. of Ds running things, it would be pointless to afford that credit elsewhere.
