I live out here. In fact across the street from the planned site. Our city is growing. I am excited for the changes but also will miss the current view when I drive out to road. I am tired of going to Salem or Sherwood to go to a Target or Costco. After being here for 8 years going into Safeway is old. It's like we have every store here except the ones we might really want and now we are talking about size. Maybe Trader Joe's might fit that model. sigh...

We have very few big box stores here in McMinnville.

Life is just fine. It’s calm. Traffic is very manageable. We have what we need.

Let the rest of the world be crazy/busy.

That’s not what most people want for McMinnville.
