Brown bag concerts start Thursday

McMinnville’s popular Brown Bag Concerts will return Thursday, June 11.

Concerts will be held Thursdays. Most will be on the U.S. Bank Plaza at Third and Cowls streets. However, the opening concert by pianist Michael Allen Harrison will be held in the First Baptist Church, First and Cowls streets.

Most will run from noon to 1 p.m., as usual. But this year, two concerts are scheduled for later in the day -- the July 30 and Aug. 30 concerts will start at 5:30 p.m.

The schedule of concerts is:

- June 11, noon, Michael Allen Harrison (the only concert at First Baptist Church).

- June 18, noon Sky Bound Blue.

- June 25, noon, Weather Machine.

- July 2, noon Run and Tell That.

- July 9, noon, Jeremy Moll & Aimee Palacios.

- July 16, noon, Golden Bough.

- July 23, noon, Moody Little Sister.

- July 30, 5:30 p.m., Western Flyers.

- Aug. 6, 5:30 p.m., Hill Dog.
