Hmm… spend money to fix roads or spend money to appeal the gun sanctuary ruling.
Might be an interesting survey question for county residents.

Those two issues are tied together more than you realize. The commissioners are doing their jobs, thank God for that. It was the actions and policies of liberal politicians/lawmakers, state and national, that put the commissioners in the position where they felt they needed to act to protect the constitutional rights of the citizens of the county, remember the sanctuary ruling debate started well before ballot 114. These are some of the very same misguided people and policies that has driven inflation to 40 year highs and threw the supply chain into the dumper. It wasn't Putin, it wasn't Ukraine, it's not gas kitchen stoves. It's mismanagement by degenerates, thieves and pathological liars. I am not sure if you are aware, but asphalt, the chip sealer, the material they squirt into the cracks, those are all made by fossil fuels, the very thing the left are trying to do away with. Hmmm... I wonder what the price of those products were 24 months ago?

Appears that the “gun sanctuary” decision by the court sends a clear message that it’s not the commissioners job.
But I’m sure the county’s outside attorneys appreciate the payday.

Attempting to override or preempt state law is definitely not the job of county commissioners. Representing the county in state and federal policy discussions, yes - nullifying them, no.

So it is the mismanagement by degenerates, thieves and pathological liars that has given rise to record inflation throughout the global economy. Interesting economic analysis. 🙄

Is it Quarry Rd or Cory Rd (not aware of one in Yamhill County) where the testing is occurring?

I enjoy having gravel in my travel. It keeps the Urban vermin away.

As for the gun sanctuary, it is legally no different than Oregon declaring itself a marijuana sanctuary except that the US Constitution doesn't have any provision to enumerate the right to smoke marijuana. We also don't have any evidence that Oregon gun owners were intended to emulate the corrupt bureaucracats of the OMMP and OLCC who entered into a criminal conspiracy with the Oregon Marijuana Mafia to expropriate the private property of innocent victims for the purposes of committing Federal felonies.

Legally, it’s quite different….Yamhill County is not the State of Oregon and doesn’t have the same authority.
That’s why the case was shot down immediately in court. Your argument is flawed.

Tagup,

Shot down by the same judge that gives drug traffickers a free pass for shooting at children.

Apparently the judge got it right as the appeal was withdrawn. That’s what litigants do when they don’t have a winning case.

Litigants pick their battles, strategy and tactics.

Yesterday, the Oregon Supreme Court upheld the Harney County Judge who ruled Ballot Measure 114 unconstitutional.

You better re read the ruling… the Supreme Court made no judgment on the constitutionality of 114…. They deferred to the trial court.
And what does that have to do with the “ gun sanctuary “ case in Yamhill county?…. Quick answer… nothing!
