Rusty Rae/News-Register##Maile Keliiheleua said that McMinnville High School was more than a place to compete, but a supportive home for all her athletic endeavors. She used her speech to thank past coaches and encourage her two children to aim for the stars.

Rusty Rae/News-Register##Chris Haddeland shared some of his favorites growing up in McMinnville, including Mark Peterson’s physical education classes and youth basketball camps. What stood out to Haddeland’s peers was the dichotomy in his personality between sports and everyday life. When he hit the field/court, he was a whole different person, intent on winning at any cost.

On Saturday, May 2, Maile Keliiheleua (1995-99), Chris Haddeland (2007-2011), Spencer Payne (2008-13) and the Grizzlies 2006 Boys Soccer Team were officaly inducted into the McMinnville High School Sports Hall of Fame. All were joined by family and friends, sharing laughs and memories of their high school days while being honored in the MHS gym.
