I hope voters will take the time to read the public documents filed with the state instead of immediately jumping to the conclusion that this is some leftist conspiracy. Vote as you will, but please do so with all of the available information considered.

Nothing to do with the campaign?
Financial management and good judgement are requirements of the job!
Deciding to close one month after sending growers an “incredible success” letter for 2023 certainty raises the question of integrity.

Looks like the tables are turned on poor Lindsay. She has no issue with taking someone to task on personal issues, (remember her ruthless attacks on a much more qualified candidate, Barbara Boyer?), but then cries foul when someone calls her out on issues that are much more closely related to her job as a commissioner. Yes, poor Lindsay is a victim isn't she?....

Fescue

Maybe Lindsay and Mike can't pay their bills because they had to invest in the highly edited photos of her on all those obviously expensive 4 X 8 signs around the county. Those are surely more important than paying legitimate farm producers aren't they?

3 reasons you should NOT vote for Lindsay:
1. Lindsay's campaign is funded by the George Family, owners of one of the largest hazelnut processing companies in the country. Nothing wrong with that. Where it becomes very, very wrong is when she represents only the big money that helped get her get elected and blatantly ignores the wishes of the citizen majority.
2. Here's one example of how Lindsay serves her wealthy farmer campaign supporters and ignores pure and simple betterment for citizens: In 2020 Lindsay killed the Yamhelas Westsider Trail, even though construction had already begun and it meant returning hefty private donations and a $1.5 million grant to the state. She killed it because her farmer supporters are against having regular people (ugh!) sully "their" lovely county. She killed it even though an online petition in June of 2021 gathered more than 3,200 signatures in favor of the trail.
3. Lindsay appointed six candidates with jaw-dropping conflicts of and lack of qualifications to the county parks advisory board. One of them is her husband. One of them is Celine McCarthy. McCarthy and her husband, Greg, who was convicted in federal court last year of financial fraud, were among the largest campaign finance donors to Lindsay.
4. There are many more examples of this politician's wily undertakings. You'll find them in Mac's News-Register newspaper. Keep informed. Everybody rise up and vote for Bubba King.

I can’t believe they tried to blame Mike’s parents. They are good people who deserve better than being used as scapegoats for Lindsay and Mike conning and stealing from people who trusted them.

Bill B

Interestingly, there does not seem to be any less signs in the farm fields.

I've seen Lindsay in the grocery store with her large Louis Vuitton handbag. Can't afford to pay farmers but somehow manages to justify a personal luxury accessory purchase? Hmmm.

Otis

This is just totally nuts.....

Interesting observation, CJW. I’ve seen her in the market too. I didn’t notice her handbag but I did notice she didn’t look much like what we see reflected on the glut of signs that foul the scenery along our formerly lovely county roads.

I haven’t noticed any signs coming down either, Mr. B. I had hoped that following recent public revelations, at least a few land owners might not want to be associated with someone who stiffs fellow farmers. However, it appears that when a “representative” has been greasing YOUR big ol’ skids, the treatment of others does not matter, nor does it seem to matter who knows where you stand.

Thanks for the clarification….hard to see how anyone other than the owners are responsible for the company finances.
