Ross Rutschman (right) received a first-team all-state selection as a shortstop for the McMinnville baseball team in 1975, his senior season. Rutschman batted .618 that year and stole 15 bases for the Grizzlies as they won the Class 3A Coast Valley League championship and qualified for the state playoffs.
