Jere Boundy, holding one of the stuffed animals sold in the Willamette Valley Medical Center gift shop, has been a hospital volunteer since 1990. She has racked up more than 17,000 hours volunteering in the shop and other parts of WVMC and the old McMinnville Community Hospital, where she delivered meals to patients, greeted visitors and did  whatever they needed me to do,  said Boundy, who also worked at the Yamhill County Courthouse for 23 years before retiring.
