The Coolest Thing Made in Yamhill County

Nominations are open for the
2024 Coolest Thing Made in Yamhill County (and Oregon) competitions

In partnership with the McMinnville Economic Development Partnership, McMinnville Area Chamber of Commerce and McMinnville Industrial Promotions, the News-Register is excited to host the nomination site for this inaugural competition to name the Coolest Thing Made in Yamhill County.

Our “Coolest Thing” promotion is in support of the statewide “Coolest Thing Made in Oregon” competition sponsored by Oregon Business & Industry. We encourage people to nominate Yamhill County items using the OBI form found at this link.

Nominations to both OBI and Yamhill County contests must be produced using a manufacturing process, thus excluding handmade products.

The local winner, finalists and other Cool Things made locally will be featured in a special section that will also highlight and celebrate the local manufacturing sector that is vital to the health of our communities.

Fill out the form below to nominate a product made locally. Anyone can nominate, including manufacturers looking to promote their own. Each individual gets one nomination. All nominations will remain confidential
