It's actually harder to read all caps for all levels of vision. Have you tried a screen magnifier?

Damn bouncer, you got me. I clearly knew of your ailments and I’m just a terrible person. But if it can read the articles that are not in all caps, I see no way all caps would help with typing. You know, you can magnify text pretty easily on computers and phones. So once again, please turn off caps lock.

The guy paid back the personal gas expenses in question - seems like a closed matter. A mistake like this doesn't surprise me based on my continuing experience in the field that I operate in as a financial records accountant. Is it wrong? Of course it is. But was it intentional? Probably not. While I have no specific knowledge to the situation cited in this article, I see similar situations happen with some frequency. When it is time for the employee to submit all of their receipts for the department expenses that they incurred on the company card for that month, there is the occasional scenario where the employee accidentally used the company card instead of their own card for a personal expense. The employee reimburses the company and the matter is closed. Life goes on. But it sure seems like in the public/government realm, the public goes bonkers when something like this comes up. I'm so glad that I don't work in the realm of government - lol - because everything is often so overly magnified in outside eyes. Why? Because outside eyes often have no actual experience with the situations in question and for some reason, human nature seems to want to jump to the worst conclusion possible.

Actually, not really. The amount is actually irrelevant. What is relevant is the behavioral patterns and frequency and if it was a problem historically (such as he has been scolded previously about it and is still doing it - then THAT is definitely a problem). But honestly, it probably all comes down to where the cardholder is keeping the card in their wallet. I usually advise my cardholders to NOT keep their company cards on their person in the same exact place as their personal cards. If kept together, it increases the likelihood of the stuff like this happening.

I think an investigator might be curious as to how long it has been going on....$1757 isn't insignificant, it equates to roughly 400 gallons of personal fuel...is that 1 month? 3 months?
