It's such a terrible loss. Hopefully, we can all come together to make improvements to that intersection to help prevent another tragedy.

NO ONE does the speed limit in that section of road. Police patrols won't work because there aren't enough cops to surveil and ticket everyone 24/365.

An option is traffic cameras, one for each direction. But then, some will say this is fulfilling the prophecy of "1984" (Big Brother), or communism, and it may have to be paid for with another bond. Another bond...no problem...this city LOVES to issue bonds!
