Bubba King what a joke, troublemaker. Kinda like all the lefties that voted for him. Bring Lindsay back. That guy stands for nothing in Yamhill County. The guy is out of touch.

From what I have seen from his actions, not what he said and the liberal lies/hype pushed, in this newspaper, by the same group that have train wrecked McMinnville city finances, his greatest accomplishment so far was sponging a ride to the SOTU speech where disrespected the President and callously sat on his a** while a teenage survivor of brain cancer was celebrated, embarrassing and shaming Yamhill county.
With 24 hours for review, he could not comprehend the terms of the contract? It is very clear that Bubby is over his head and out of his league. What a shame.

King paid his own way back to D.C.

Worked on it for months but the ICE slipped by?

I noticed that too….maybe Bubba had it right to review the contract.

Interesting to read the gas-lit criticisms of Commissioner King. He is cautious and thoughtful which some of us consider to be among the many reasons we voted for him.

How bizarre to read comments about Commissioner King being a trouble maker for asking questions and requiring the county attorney have a chance to read and analyze a new contract before approval. That's basic responsible governance. He said "if this changes nothing but the rate, I'll vote for it" and staff clearly said they didn't know yet because the newest copy arrived that morning. Approving contracts without reading and getting complete legal advice is bonkers
