ODFW hosts Hebo Lake fishing event

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is holding a Family Fishing Event Saturday, April 16, at Hebo Lake.

ODFW will stock the lake with over 3,000 rainbow trout, according to a media release, and will provide equipment, instruction and assistance for participants as necessary.

Fishing licenses will be required for adults, and children ages 12-17 must be in possession of juvenile angling licenses. Children ages 11 and under are permitted to fish for free. The U.S. Forest Service is waiving the $5 day use fee for parking at the Hebo Lake Campground, though overnight fees will still apply.
