How about this ... wolves are not the most significant predator issue before ODWF ... sea lions are devastating the salmon runs all along the west coast. Hundreds (thousands in the Columbia) line the banks and sand bars of coastal rivers, ever ready to munch their way through any school that enters the system.
And yet again this fall, videos of workers clubbing salmon at hatcheries on Oregon's coast has appeared. This is how ODWF does the salmon business.
ODWF would appear to struggle mightily with the definition of 'management'! Wolves beware!
