What, Biden says everything is just great!!!! FJB

tagup

Not that Biden has much control over it...seems like low unemployment is a good thing.

Peacock791

Its not low unemployment when people don't want to work and prefer Gov't handouts.....

tagup

Gov’t handouts?....Stimulus payouts are long gone....what programs are you referring to?

tagup

At $19.50/hr they are paying substantially less than other local driving positions. I think the school bus drivers in Newberg are starting @ $24 -$29/hr plus. Maybe they need to get more competitive with wages.

Russ

Cock: You can't just say FJB at every perceived failure. You need to have some facts to support your arguments, such as they are (and FJB is not an argument). The president has astonishingly little control over most things that affect the common person's everyday life, especially bus routes and driver pay in Yamhill Cty.

Bill B

@tagup, significant salary increases are a major contributor to inflation. IMHO $40,000 a year is a lot for driving a bus.

tagup

Inflationary or not...the economic reality is ( all things being equal) workers will gravitate towards a higher wage offer.

Bill B

And there lies the problem; w3here does it end?
