Which makes me wonder- This was found almost a year ago:
“ 380 cubic yards of garbage on the pavement outside the covered transfer station building” and “litter and debris scattered throughout the facility…significant accumulation of litter and debris around the transfer station building, near storm drains, in vegetated areas and in the ditches along both sides of Wynooski Road”.
Not a small amount that they hadn’t noticed- the trash was intentionally dumped there.
The article states it was cleaned up - at least once anyway. But have they continued their toxic and illegal practices? How can they be trusted to follow the rules that were created to protect us and our children? And why was the fine so low?
