Spill water over the dams to save salmon - while raising power rates. Nowhere in the article was there a mention of the real salmon issue - sea lions.

The Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife estimates that sea lions eat up to 44% of the Columbia River spring Chinook run and 25% of the Willamette winter steelhead run each year.

Nearly half of the Columbia springers are eaten by sea lions yearly (they also eat salmon smolts), and the solution is to spill more water over the dams? When did intelligence go on vacation, and for how long?

Doze a sea lion, save hundreds of salmon. It is that simple!

Well said, Don.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that the goal of these environmental nazis is to tear out the Bonneville Dam altogether. The NR endorsed Tina Kotek is MIA, she's too busy proclaiming her virtue over President Trump while Oregon burns.

But Don's comment paints the bigger picture and highlights the Democrats' main party platform, right out of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals: the end justifies the means. Gaslighting and punishing rate payers is perfectly legit democrat public policy, while pushing local 'politicians' to make insane comments about installing solar panels.

Madam Mayor, where is the financial audit you promised? I'm sure there's more than $12k hidden there.
