Why would you go to this event if you can't see it?

It was not fun to be downwind from this burn in a heavily populated area. Toxic smoke and burning ash were all over the neighborhood. Next time, please pick a rural spot to burn for training.

Why would he want to watch this especially since he is legally blind (and for some reason, causes him/her to write in all caps). Maybe the smell of burning buildings is appealing?
