Let's hope the zoning improvements around Stratus Ave pass. Our town is in desperate need of denser zoning and additional housing, especially affordable housing.

With the city’s poor financial situation, any city councilor that votes in support of gifting the RB Rubber property - with fifteen years of property tax breaks to an out of town developer would show they do not understand the equally critical financial situation at least 30% of local taxpayers are struggling with.
Before committing to any more expensive new projects, councilors should follow Linfield’s example - and cut payroll and overhead enough to balance their current budget - that takes the annual increases in PERs, insurance, storm drainage maintenance, etc into consideration.

Me thinks council is in way over their heads on the Alpine Avenue fiasco.

Somebody should sue the city over the RB Rubber give away and property tax giveaway especially when the cities crying about city budget stormwater, etc. Also make sure and mention Ex Mayor Drabkin in the lawsuit. It works thank God Trump is getting stopped in his tracks. McMinnville needs to get stopped.

You are probably right B, but most of our elected officials (from the president down) are in over their heads much (most) of the time.
It’s a shame, but it’s been like this forever.

What a massive boondoggle. Giving away the property for free is madness. What is wrong with these people?
