92,000 Dollars for nine months of work not a bad job. Does Talitha consulting actually put in 40 hours a week on the study? My guess is they threw it together in a few weeks waited nine months to give their proposals, and how much will the next pillar cost the City? Just more stupid ideas! the big corporations are doing away with DEI as the city of McMinnville should do. Typical to hire a consultant to CYA just so nobody has to take the blame.
Next council meeting, the council will be crying about another budget short fall. Or probably more money to study third street project. Put new trees on the side leave the cars and curbs on the street and while you’re at it put Turkey Rama back on 3rd St.

All of these D.E.I. consulting companies never actually do any work for their services. It's all done by ultra biased A.I. It's all a scam!

What ever happened to hiring an employee based on experience, ability, and a good fit for the position, rather than a 'box checker'? -- unless the goal is mediocre results.

Otis

Why do we have DEI?? maybe because old crusty white dudes only hire more old crusty white dudes.

Don Dix... well said. I don't understand why the city feels compelled to spend nearly $100,000 for a consulting firm to tell them to use common sense when hiring, and in interactions between people. Just treat people with respect and dignity, and hire based on merit! Simple! (Can I submit my bill for $100,000?). Major companies all over the country have already ditched DEI... They got it figured out!
