Yamhill County has 'outgrown' the animal services provided by Homeward Bound Pets.

Homeward Bound Pets has had and currently has, too many administrative problems forcing Yamhill County into foreseeable but incurred substandard services.

Whereas, I am not in favor of increasing government, Yamhill County should explore creating an 'Animal Control Department' complete with; kennels, veterinarian, Animal Control Officers and corresponding Administration to enforce laws, protect animals, issue the appropriate licenses and to assist Police agencies when called upon to do so.
