Special thank you and great job to Gary our fair manager and Lacey his right hand assistant manager. You guys are a big part of why our fair is succeeding!

It appears to be rapidly outgrowing the fairgrounds

The fair was fantastic. Information about where to park and parking are something the fair board needs to work on heavily. It was very troublesome. You shouldn't have to get all the way to the entrance to see that there is no parking. Maybe reader boards saying where there is open parking. No easy way to get things purchased to your vehicle when having to walk long distances. So happy that the attendance is up!

Good job to Gary and all the many people who worked hard to put on another good fair! Thank you!

Two thoughts. First, the county fair has essentially become a carnival. There are so few animals any more. I feel bad for the young exhibitors who have to put up with the vendors, musical noise, and "entertainment" that has nothing to do with the core reason for the fair. Second, I hope that an extensive independent audit is performed on the fair. When I see the numbers and revenue that's publicly reported by the fair board, then look at the county budget actual numbers, there is a wide disparity. It looks like the numbers reported by the fair board are padded to create the appearance that things are all rosy with the fair. A complete independent comprehensive audit would answer this question. If the fair numbers are accurate, then they should have no problem with an independent audit.
