Very nicely expressed. The Behschauers and the Sterrets and the Shannons of the world think they've come upon something really clever through the absurd misappropriation of events/people from the Jim Crow era and the Holocaust. Rosa Parks might not have ever been famous had it not been for the horrific killing of teenager Emmett Till, with his mother subsequently deciding, for which Southern whites fervently denounced her, to hold an open-casket funeral so that the world could actually see what the truly vicious face of Jim Crow was all about. It is loathsome that historical events are used in such a cynical and trivial manner.
