The Mac girls made a habit of mobbing their own girls at the plate after hitting balls over the wall. Later in the season a red rubber chicken made an appearance as a celebratory prop. Dinger credited her teammates for a lot of her success, saying, “The reason I’ve been doing well has been that I’ve been playing loose and been having fun with my teammates.”
