Established in 1904, Willamette Valley Medical Center (WVMC) has provided quality healthcare to area residents for over 100 years. WVMC is a 60-bed acute care facility, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and certified as an accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology.

WVMC offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient specialized services, including emergency services, surgical services (including bariatric and orthopedic), diagnostic imaging, radiation oncology services, behavioral health, and more.

COMMUNITY PARTNER

Yamhill County CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers (CASA volunteers). CASA volunteers speak up in court for the best interests of the children in cases of abuse and neglect. CASA volunteers meet with the child, their family, teachers, doctors, and all adults that help shape the child's world, and then make fact-based recommendations to the Judge about what is in the best interest of the child. Where caseworkers are often overburdened, CASA volunteers focus on one case at a time. Where attorneys must represent their client’s wishes, even if those wishes may not be in the child’s best interests, CASA volunteers can share unbiased observations and recommendations with the court. Where there is turnover in caseworkers and attorneys, CASA volunteers remain assigned to the case for the duration of the case. Learn more today at yccasa.org
