Oh, thank you Mayor Remi! I cannot wait until the RB Rubber chickens come home to roost. A perfect example of why the city government has absolutely no business being involved in these types of projects. What a cluster truck! Tack this on to the $3 million dollar budget shortfall.

Fackler is the problem, and they were selected by YCAP. Too many cooks in the kitchen on this project.

Why in the world is Fackler not being held responsible for the poor and failing work on this construction job, why are they not regunding some money and why was the answer-give then $75000. more? This is crazy.

Remove Heather Richards already got rid of the Mayor. I always wonder why Heather left Central Oregon. City had no business buying an RB rubber..

All fingers should be pointed at Fackler. Refer to the last article News Register published about the lawsuit against him regarding the fire stations. This is not a one time problem. He poorly executes and manages his construction projects and then makes his subcontractors pay the price and refuses to pay them when he doesn't get paid. Looks like his fraudulent ways are catching up to him.

Bigfootlives - Ditto! How much have we spent to date on interest on the RB site?

What a mess! It’s a shame the city, YCAP and Fackler can’t get this figured out, and be done with this project that has continually run behind schedule and over budget. Fackler is sure suspect in this. (Refer to NR article Feb 6, 2025 about Polk Fire Department. The project was not finished on time, and there are several problems. Fackler is being sued for $2.6 million). I’m probably naïve about this, but if the contract for the navigation center included a guaranteed maximum price of $2,479,175, then why in the world is the city agreeing to pay them any more for their shoddy work? What a disaster!

It sounds like YCAP should be suing the contractor they chose, not the city.
