As a gun owner, hunter & outdoor enthusiast as well as politically engaged, I find the Sheriff’s comments interesting if not disingenuous! I’m mindful that our public safety institutions are certainly needful of better funding and would benefit from additional staffing but to declare administering and enforcing the new & likely gun laws (which I support) will be “a heavy lift” is unlikely. If necessary & I think it is, raise taxes as well as elect leaders at local, state and federal levels that TRULY serve for the common good!!!
