Awesome.

The library should be a center of culture, education and safety.

I was verbally threatened by a homeless man hanging out upstairs in the library about a month ago. We need full time security and the City of McMinnville needs to pay for it.

The homeless shouldn’t be hanging out there in the first place. If the library was used as a library then we wouldn’t need security.

Visiting the library became a nightmarish, creepy experience. I won't be returning.

Pretty sad that the library needs a security guard, don't you think?

If director Berg continues to use our city library and resources as a warming shelter, we will continue to have security and safety problems.

This is a terrific story of the library's continued work to make sure all are safe at the library and that all are welcome. The design of the library entry, which provides shelter from the elements, makes it a place I would go to if, god forbid, I were ever homeless in Mac. Director Berg is doing an excellent job balancing community needs. Thank you Ms. Berg.
